Instructions for Patterned Heat Transfer Vinyl:

Do not mirror your design and place your patterned HTV on you mat with the paper backing down and the pattern facing up. You will need to purchase heat transfer mask separately. 

Heat Press:

• Cut design with your vinyl cutting machine
• Weed out excess vinyl
• Place heat transfer mask over your design and burnish the patterned HTV and the transfer sheet together.
• Remove the patterned HTV backing leaving the design on the heat transfer mask
• Press item at 305º-310º for 10 seconds with medium pressure
• Hot or cold peel

Home Iron: 

• Cut design with your vinyl cutting machine
• Weed out excess vinyl
• Place heat transfer mask over your design and burnish the patterned HTV and the transfer sheet together.
• Remove the patterned HTV backing leaving the design on the heat transfer mask
• Set your iron to the cotton setting – do not use any steam
• Place your garment on a hard surface to apply
• Firmly iron the design for 15-30 seconds – do not slide the iron from side to side
• Let design cool before removing your transfer sheet
• If the design is not completely adhered, recover the design and repress areas for 10 seconds

Instructions for Patterned Adhesive Vinyl:

Do not mirror your design. Place the material on your mat patterned side up and paper backing side down. You will need to purchase application tape separately. 

• Cut design with your vinyl cutter
• Weed out excess vinyl 
• Remove the paper lining on your application tape. Place it on top of your patterned adhesive design and burnish the patterned vinyl onto the adhesive tape.
• Remove the patterned vinyl backing leaving the design on the application tape, exposing the sticky part of the vinyl.
• Place the application tape with your design on to your desired object and burnish to adhere your design
• Remove the application tape slowly to reveal your adhered design

Washing and Drying instructions for iCraftVinyl HTV:

• Allow your design to set on your garment for 24 hours before washing. HTV needs enough time to cure to ensure it is adhered.
• Turn garment inside out before washing.
• Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Use a gentle detergent.
• Wash in cold or warm water.
• Dry flat or hang to dry.
• Do not iron directly on to the HTV once applied.
